Katsuyasu Kato
Vice President, Strategic Planning
Mr. Katsuyasu Kato joined Pepsi Bottling Ventures in April 2010. He is the primary liaison between Suntory Limited and PBV.
Mr. Kato joined Suntory Limited in 1984 in the Finance Department. In 1993, he was promoted to Manager of the Corporate Planning Department for the Suntory International Corporation and served in that role until 1996. In 1996, he became a Director in the Finance Department for the Suntory International Corporation and was in that role until 2000, when he became General Manager for the Finance Department for Suntory Limited and then transitioned to General Manager for the Food & Beverage Section in 2005. In 2008 he was promoted to Executive General Manager for Suntory Beverage & Food Limited. He was appointed to his current position with PBV in April of 2010.
Mr. Kato holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan. He also received a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.
